Juicy & easy drinking. Black currant jam & liquorice.
What about me? Malbec 2019 from Alpasión estate has a deep ruby colour.
On the nose it’s very juicy and ‘dark’ with black currant jam, blackberry jam, graphite, wet stone, liquorice.
The mouthfeel is round and pleasantly chewy.
On the palate this malbec is very juicy and easy drinking with notes or blackberry jam and black currant jam.
The finish is medium long.
Malbec is a purple grape variety that is used in the manufacture of red wine. The grapes are known for their inky dark color and robust tannins, and are one of the six grapes allowed in red Bordeaux wine blends. Malbec plantations are now primarily found in Cahors, South West France, though the grape is grown all over the world. It is becoming more well-known as an Argentine varietal.Link to here... | Derived from 'Malbec' on Wikipedia
