Tasting Notes
The 2019 Ribolla Gialla from La Tunella estate has a pale yellow colour with greenish hued.
On the nose the Ribolla Gialla is quite mineral and has a rather aromatic character with an intense white flower note coming through straight away. I then find white peach, candied lemon zest, aromatic herbs, tinned pear, under ripe pineapple.
The mouthfeel is round with a nice acidity.
On the palate, the Ribolla Gialla from La Tunella is refreshing and pleasant, mineral and sapid.
The finish is medium long.
It’s a very attractive, easy drinking wine. It’s perfect as an aperitif, with fish or vegetable based dishes.
