Lykos Winery "Syrah" 2014

100% Syrah
A still red wine from the Evia region of Greece.

Warm & evolved. Sandal wood & graphite.

Tasting Notes

The Syrah 2014 from Lykos Winery has a ruby colour with garnet rim.

On the nose the bouquet is warm and rather evolved. It has a fruity side to it with cooked black currants and under spirit cherries, but it shows also tertiary notes of sandal wood, graphite, graphite, liquorice. Finally there is an herbaceous note of tarragon and, after some time, tobacco leaf.

On the mouth this Syrah is roundwith nice integrated tannins. On the palate it is warm with notes of bitter chocolate.

The finish is medium long to long.
