Tasting Notes
The Refosco 2015 from Adams Wines has an intense, very dark purple colour.
On the nose it’s dark, jammy and deep too. The bouquet opens with blueberry jam and liquorice. It then unfolds with cedar wood and leather. It’s also rather sapid.
The mouthfeel is round and full with some freshness and a chewy character from well integrated tannins.
On the palate this Refosco is sapid with notes if liquorice.
The finish is medium long and nice.
